Orientation Training for Tutors

The LC Advance Orientation Training for Tutors was held last October 29, 2010 at LC Advance Tutorial Center - Archimedes Room.

The objectives of the LC Advance Tutorial Center Orientation Program for New Tutors are:
·         To have an effective orientation program that is consistent throughout the company’s operations
·         To make new tutors feel welcome and part of the group
·         To provide an overview of the tutorial session
·         To communicate information about the center’s goals and culture
·         To provide a detailed information about the tutor’s position
·         To educate the tutors with important policies and benefits.

A successful orientation is well planned. Orientation is spread over a period of time and is an ongoing process, not just a 1-day event. Important information should be given to the new tutor closest to the time it is needed.

As part of the orientation program, both old and dew tutors were taught tutoring techniques, how to deal with difficult tutorial scenarios and learning styles that are relevant to LC Advance operations.
